Ian’s background in teaching creative media and as an active practitioner stretches back nearly two decades. His recent research, at University College London’s Institute of Education, was concerned with how intelligent systems and blended learning strategies can promote creative thinking and creative problem solving.
Ian’s current focus is on how to utilise a mix of connected learning and project-based learning to design learning experiences for life-long learners and he is currently devising a project to enhance 21st Century Skills through community cohesion projects, tacking real-world issues. He also devises learning experiences for home-schooled children looking to channel their creativity and develop digital skills.
